Tickets currently on sale for Eagles' LA forum shows in January 2014

As announced earlier this year, the LA Forum, which has recently been refurbished, will re-open in January with three Eagles shows as its inaugural events on January 15, 17, and 18. A few tickets are currently available for the shows on Ticketmaster. It appears there will not be VIP tickets sold for this show.

The documentary that first aired on Showtime entitled History of the Eagles is now available in stores as either DVD, Blu-Ray, digital, or as part of a deluxe set.  You can also buy it online at the band's official website or from online dealers such as amazon. iTunes has a downloadable version. Now go get yourself a copy!

Eagles to attend Sundance London!

The Eagles will be in London for the Sundance London festival the end of April, and will participate in an extended Q&A session, and the movie will premiere there.  More details can be found here.

RUMOR! Eagles to play Salmon Festival on July 13?

It's not been announced, but there have been 'leaks' on Twitter that the Eagles are playing the Salmon Festival in Grand Falls, Newfoundland on July 13.  The article discussing the rumor can be found here.  Check back for more information when we know more!

Bernie Leadon to be part of upcoming Eagles tour?

While nothing's set in stone, Don Henley states in his recent interview with Atlantic City Insiders that the Eagles are "considering" including Bernie Leadon as part of the upcoming "History of the Eagles" tour.  What an exciting possibility!

DVD dates announced for Showtime

The new DVD, History of the Eagles - The story of an American Band, will premiere on Showtime on Feb. 15 and Feb. 16, both at 8pm ET.  Part 1 will be on the 15th, and Part 2 on the 16th.  Check your TV listings for channel numbers.

Recent interviews by Glenn as well as the director Ellwood and producer Gibney have said the movie shows rare footage of past concerts, and tells a true story without painting anyone as a villain.  Part 2 is said to feature Joe and be more moving than Part 1.

Eagles to attend Sundance Film Festival Premiere

News from Timothy B Schmit's official site is that the Eagles will be attending the upcoming premiere of their "History of the Eagles Part 1" DVD at the Sundance Film Festival. They will also be donating a signed guitar to be auctioned off for charity. More info on all of this can be found on Timothy's site

The group cyber Get Well card for Timothy was sent tonight at 8pm EST. Thanks to all those who participated .. we had 32 names and a variety of sweet and touching comments which I'm sure Timothy will appreciate.
